Brandy Villareal joined Pelican Energy Partners in 2016 as an Executive Assistant. She is the first point of contact at the office and provides administrative support to the Partners, including designing company reports; coordinating meetings, special events, and travel; managing the contact database; maintaining office and kitchen supplies; sending quarterly mailouts; and much more.
Prior to joining Pelican, Brandy was an Executive Assistant at Gulf Coast Asphalt Company, LLC where she provided support to multiple executives and assisted with start-up procedures for a new company, Gravity Midstream, LLC. Prior to Gulf Coast Asphalt Company, Brandy was an account manager for Hospitality Pro Search, an executive search firm in the hospitality industry, where she recruited for positions such as restaurant manager and coached candidates through the interview process.
Brandy received a BA in Secondary Education with a concentration in English from Concordia University Wisconsin.
Originally from Minnesota, Brandy moved to Houston twenty years ago, where she enjoys a much warmer climate! Brandy's interests include cooking, trying vegan recipes, cycling, hiking, running, bodyboarding in Surfside, motorcycling through the Texas Hill Country, and exploring state and national parks with her husband. While she has enjoyed the opportunity to run half marathons in many national parks through the Vacation Races series, Texas' Big Bend National Park remains her favorite national park.
