Lee Rowe joined Pelican Energy Partners in 2013. He has over 30 years of management consulting, operational and executive leadership experience. At Pelican, Lee is responsible for working with portfolio companies to help them achieve their maximum potential.
Lee has served as CEO of Rapid Rod Service and Elite Production Services. Currently, he is Chairman of the Board at Rapid Rod Service and Performance Wellhead & Frac Components.
Prior to joining Pelican Energy Partners, Lee spent eight years with Sorenson Capital, a private equity fund in Salt Lake City, Utah as a Vice President in the Portfolio Group. He sat on three boards and worked with several portfolio companies in the energy and manufacturing industries. Mr. Rowe has run several oilfield services companies that deliver above-ground and down-hole services.
Before entering the private equity arena, he served as General Manager of Valtek Control Valves, a division of Flowserve, overseeing operations in North and South America, Europe and India. He has served as General Manager at J.C. Carter, Inc., overseeing LNG pump division. At J.C. Carter, Lee also oversaw all aerospace manufacturing operations.
Earlier in his career, Lee worked in management consulting for 10 years as a Senior Manager at Ernst & Young and a Principal at A.T. Kearney, specializing in aerospace engineering and manufacturing. While working in the consulting industry, Lee earned his Certified Production and Inventory Manager (CPIM) certification from the American Inventory and Production Control Society. He also achieved the designation of provisional ISO-9000 assessor and has expertise in continuous improvement, lean manufacturing and systems implementation. Mr. Rowe began his professional career working for Lockheed Missiles and Space Company as a rocket and jet propulsion systems engineer.
Mr. Rowe holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from Brigham Young University.
