Brittney Holbrook, CPA, joined Pelican Energy Partners in 2026 and brings nearly six years of public accounting experience serving clients across a variety of industries. At Pelican, she supports financial reporting and accounting initiatives, technical accounting research, internal control compliance, transaction-related accounting, process improvement efforts, and portfolio company support.
Prior to joining Pelican Energy Partners, Brittney served as an Experienced Assurance Manager at BDO, where she led risk-based audit engagements for both private and public company clients. Her expertise includes financial statement audits, risk assessment, internal controls evaluation, financial reporting, business combinations, valuation testing, and complex accounting matters.
Brittney earned a Master of Science in Accounting, a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Lamar University. She is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of Texas and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TXCPA).
Originally from Nederland, Texas, Brittney relocated to Houston after graduating college. Outside of work, she spends most of her time with her husband and their Golden Retriever, Emmy. She loves being in nature, gardening, concerts and exploring new places in Houston with family and friends.
