Julia Frenkel joined Pelican Energy Partners in 2015 and is responsible for all financial and accounting management aspects of the firm. Prior to joining Pelican, Julia worked in the external reporting group at LyondellBasell, preparing quarterly and annual financial statements and footnote disclosures in accordance with U.S. GAAP and IFRS. Before LyondellBasell, Julia worked at a consulting firm, providing outsourced controller services, pre-audit support, and financial reporting services to companies in various industries. She also previously served as an Assurance Manager at Ernst & Young LLP, handling audit engagements for large SEC registrants and Fortune 500 companies in the energy and utilities sectors.
Julia graduated summa cum laude from the University of Houston with a double major in Accounting and International Business. She is a licensed CPA in the State of Texas since 2007 and is a member of the Texas Society of CPAs and the Houston CPA Society.
