Ryan joined Pelican Energy Partners in 2025 as an Associate. His responsibilities include analysis and evaluation of investment opportunities, financial modeling, due diligence, transaction execution, and portfolio company monitoring.
Prior to joining Pelican, Ryan was an Analyst at Valedor Partners, a Houston-based investment firm where he worked on buyout transactions, with a focus on lower middle market industrial businesses, and supported its portfolio companies on add-on acquisitions and value creation initiatives. Prior to Valedor and obtaining his bachelor’s degree, Ryan held internship roles at Shore Capital Partners and Atento Capital.
Ryan graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a B.S. in Agricultural & Consumer Economics and a minor in Informatics.
In his free time, Ryan enjoys traveling, cooking, reading, country music, playing badminton, and trying new bourbons.
